Networking with women entrepreneurs to support businesses and to create funding opportunities.

Making the Connections

The economic bleakness of COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on global businesses.  One of our goals at Network of Women NOW is to identify small women-owned businesses to outsource the making of reusable pads and soap to contribute to the Ubibi Bags, in addition to generating vital income for the entire community.

  • Mwajabu’s Boutique is a women-owned business in Arusha, Tanzania. Mwajabu is a skilled seamstress and teaches young girls in her village how to sew merchandise, make jewelry, and maintain the business.

  • Outsourcing the making of reusable pads to small women-owned businesses creates valuable networking partnerships.

Post-COVID loss of vital household incomes for women makes it extremely difficult to afford health care and basic needs.
